“But he who practices truth [who does what is right] comes out into the Light; so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—wrought with God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence upon Him].” (John 3: 21, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)

When we do what is right, we shine as lights in the world.

God’s goodness has a glow that breaks through the clouds of confusion and limitation and fear. When we receive His Truth and do our best to live in accord with its principles, all that we do has a radiance about it. It becomes greater than personal accomplishment. It celebrates God’s presence, His creativity, His beauty, His purpose.

We are blessed and productive when we do what God guides us to do, what best honors His Truth. We can listen for the divine prompting of God. This means we pause for instruction; we set aside preconceived ideas, fears, opinions, and let God’s wisdom and love show us the next step as well as the greater vision.

This dependence on God makes doing what is right, practicing Truth, natural and comfortable. With God’s help, we make accurate decisions, based in Love and in what not only seems best for us, but what is best for all.

Let God’s light shine through you so that Her true creation is more clearly seen and so that our lives, in alignment with God, bring uplift to our lives and help light the good path for others as well.
