“Grace and peace [that special sense of spiritual well-being] be multiplied to you in the [true, intimate] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” (II Peter 1: 2, Amplified Bible)
Receive this blessing willingly, humbly, gratefully. We are always at the point of accepting a benediction, because it is always being bestowed upon us by the Love that loves to love.
As we look to God and seek to know His Truth and Life and Love better, we are enriched with those things that really matter, that give life meaning and satisfaction no matter what the material circumstances.
We have a right to this special sense of spiritual well-being that is God’s grace and peace realized. This inner awareness multiplies within us and expands outward into our lives—to the people we love, to the things we engage in doing, to our world at large.
We can come to know God truly, in an intimate way, by choosing to be who we are, letting go of the belief in our own unworthiness or unreadiness, and gratefully accepting our place and purpose as the beloved.
Each day we gain a truer understanding of ourselves and of the goodness that is in us, with us. We continue to discover beauty and light and inspiration before unseen, as God’s blessing of grace and peace reveals the infinite, active, gift of His Love for us.
