“Throughout all generations both before and after the Christian era, the Christ, as the spiritual idea, — the reflection of God, — has come with some measure of power and grace to all prepared to receive Christ, Truth.” (Science and Health, p. 333)

The Christ is without beginning or end. This Christ, this comforting and powerful message of man’s oneness with God, has always been and will always be. There is no single era of the Christ or one place where it has had or can have more influence or saving ability.

The Christ is that beautiful revelation of God’s presence that Jesus so gloriously announced and practically demonstrated in his life. This reality of God’s relationship with His idea, unbroken by material beliefs about self and time and matter, resonated through the ages before Jesus’ ministry. And it continues with us today.

And where the Christ is, there is healing. It is inevitable. For when we recognize and claim our true identity—at one with eternal Life, Truth, and Love—we begin to live in accord with the blessings that awareness brings us.

Let’s be ready and willing to receive this timeless Christ. Let’s remember that the tenderness of God’s Love means He comes to us where we are and shows us the good that is ours to enjoy. This is what Love does.

And this is the Christ—yesterday, today, forever—powerfully here for us and for all.
