“God is not far from any of us. For you know the saying, ‘We live in God; we move in God; we exist in God.’ And still another said, ‘We are indeed God’s children.’” (Acts 17: 27-28, The Voice Translation)

We can never be separated from God. We can never lose our rich relationship as His beloved children.

There is not even the distance of a breath between you and your Father-Mother. You exist with His very Spirit in you, His Love embracing you, His Life expressing itself to you and through you.

God is not far from you or from anyone. He doesn’t bring His light and love to one and keep it from another. God is ever-present and ever-active. We exist as the expression of His Life. Knowing this powerful Truth, we can feel a freedom and joy, gratitude and goodness, that is the good news that the scriptures so beautifully proclaim.

God—good, perfect Love, the Truth, eternal Life—is right where you. These qualities make up who you are. Indeed, we are God’s children—worthy, blessed, and a blessing.
