“Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now. Today is the day of salvation.” (II Corinthians 6: 2, New Living Translation)

We are being given enthusiastic permission to seize the day! We are being assured that we don’t have to wait for the right time to claim our inheritance, our innocence, our freedom.

This is it. Today is the day. You are already and now a child of God, His offspring and image, the joy of His heart and the expression of His Life. There is no reason to save up for our salvation. We can immediately agree to be who we are. We can awake to the eternal Source of good Who sustains our true identity and enjoy the blessings of that awareness.

Human nature wants to believe that our goodness is in the future or in the past, that it requires some material happening or some lightning bolt inspiration. But our divine nature, the present and active Truth of our being, knows that the only time is now, and that we are ready, willing, and able to gratefully realize this and to live it today!
