newyear

“…if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (II Corinthians 5: 17, New International Version)

Let’s embrace this good news and live accordingly!

As we step into this new year, let’s resolve not only to alter our human behavior, but to truly realize what is possible for us because of our divine heritage. We have the right and the privilege to honor the Truth that Jesus revealed to us. And today is as good a time as any to start!

We are made new as we identify ourselves rightly. We are made new as we consciously leave behind the limited sense of ourselves, caged in time and age and physicality, and begin to awake to and accept the true you and me.

For we are children of God, of Spirit and of Life. This childlikeness does not disappear with time, for our relationship with Father-Mother-God is always a constant. And His thoughts, His ideas, are always fresh, vital, good, and ready to be fully expressed. You are new to this moment because you can choose what to believe, what to agree to.

So, let’s humbly agree to the grandeur of our own true identity, as sons and daughters of God—full of promise and potential, not through willful change but through a grateful release to God’s graceful design for today, this new year, and beyond.

Happy New Year!
