“…you are a chosen people, set aside to be a royal order of priests, a holy nation, God’s own; so that you may proclaim the wondrous acts of the One who called you out of inky darkness into shimmering light.” (I Peter 2: 9, the Voice)

Do you realize that you are chosen? God has specifically designated that you are His representative, the wonderful and powerful evidence of His own nature and purpose.

This is the Truth. We can recognize and experience our rightful citizenship in this “holy nation,” the kingdom of God and His government of good. This awareness of our legitimate status opens us up to the promised land, the shimmering light of grace and glory. In knowing who we truly are and celebrating it by living as God would have us live, we break that inky darkness like the natural beacons we are.

God called you to be all that you were made to be. You have the ability and necessity to step out of any false sense of sin and limitation, and to be your true and radiant self. And in doing so and remembering the Source, you praise God and His wonderful works with your very being, and this is freeing, joyful, and healing!
