“Then the Lord said to him, ‘Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground [worthy of reverence and respect].’” (Acts 7: 33, Amplified Bible)

How wonderful it is to be made aware that right where we are, is holy ground! Just as we are reminded here with God’s words to Moses, this awesome announcement is coming to us today to show us just what a hallowed place we are in.

The recognition of the present and its power for us, is saving and healing. We can mentally remove our sandals—reverence this moment and all it contains for us. For this very moment has God in it, good in it, Love in it, and resonates with opportunity. The ground, this trustworthy foundation of Truth on which you stand, is holy because it is the place where God put us and where He holds us safe and ready for grace.

We can respect this place where we are. We can stop judging and analyzing ourselves and our lives, looking back with regret and forward with fear, and simply stand in grateful awe of this moment. It is full of promise and it is also full of one very special thing—YOU!

You bring a glory to this place with your very presence. Cherish your sweet power and the blessing you bring to Life by being you—God’s own image and beloved!
