Daily Inspiration, November 6th

“My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.” (Psalms 119: 25)

We’ve all had those days and even those years. We’ve had those times when our identity felt absolutely attached to darkness, to sin, to limits, to sickness, to fears. We have felt we can’t get up out of the dirt, simply can’t lift ourselves from our doubts, discouragement, fear, and the shame for those feelings.

Our solution at those times is not in self-will. We don’t have the personal energy for that! The answer is in God’s will. It is in turning to our loving Father-Mother-Life and letting that infinite power “quicken” us—stimulate, revive, and breathe new life into us. God’s Word is an energizing force. He tells us the Truth of our real being, one that is not limited and mortal, nor a believer in such lies.

Leave that gloom in the dust and let yourself be washed clean by God’s daily grace. Turn to divine Life as the Psalmist did. Know that nothing about the dust is more compelling or powerful than the sunlight of Life and the fresh air of Soul’s new promises for each day. You are not stuck in mortal circumstances, earthbound and frightened. You are newborn in God’s Word about you today, ready to leave the old fears and old thinking in the dust and to take flight, with the currents of Love beneath your grateful wings.
