Daily Inspiration, November 28th

“For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.” (Isaiah 51: 3)

God’s cornucopia overflows. His plentiful abundance is here for all to receive and partake. Those that seem in need of human comforts and provision shall be able to feel the glorious presence of His goodness and the direct precision of His Love. God’s kingdom is the whole earth that He made and which He loves. It belongs to Him and He feeds it full with His loving-kindness.

Divine Love is right where that table or that life may seem barren or wasted. He is always readily, heartily filling each of us with a full portion of His comfort, His tender companionship, His perfect peace. God’s Love knows no boundaries and no lack, no exceptions and no conditions. His boundless good is available for each of us to claim, utilize, and to share in a way which multiplies and heals.

Let us take this day of Thanksgiving at its name. Let us celebrate gratefully the fact that no wilderness, no desert can be left barren, for God, infinite good, demands to be seen and praised! His Love can’t be hidden or the food of His inspiration left uneaten. He calls us forth today not to sing for our supper, but because of it, because of the beauty and goodness that God has given to each of us, and which radiates forth in all His children, united as one family in perfect Love.
