Daily Inspiration, April 14th

“Man is more than a material form with a mind inside, which must escape from its environments in order to be immortal. Man reflects infinity, and this reflection is the true idea of God.” (Science and Health, page 258)

You are not trapped in a body, a physical form, or a circumstance. You are not confined to age or gender or environment. You are not caged in physiology or limited by psychology. You are free, free, free!

Let us recognize and accept with joy and gratitude that we are not yearning for escape from a condition, for we have never been bound by it. Our freedom is based on the infinitude of our expressiveness, that which is our nature, and therefore always ours to know and to feel and to experience. We reflect God’s boundlessness, His qualities expressed everywhere and eternally, permanently, without a single lapse or lag. The life that we desire, the freedom that we crave, is God-given and can’t be withdrawn or hidden by a belief in matter. Nothing will ever make matter real, when Spirit is All and in all.

The limits that the senses would parade before us are not valid before the infinite law and activity of spiritual Love. Nothing can confine the qualities of Life, God, and so we, too are unconfinable. We are capable of all things, and we are free to be free, without waiting for material permission, material compliance, a material death, or a material cure. Our heaven is found in the very fact of our birthright, that freedom which is infinite yet safe and gently and wisely controlled by the divine Mind Who never fails to perfectly Love us.
