“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]” (Matthew 11: 28, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)

Do you crave peace? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Is sleep eluding you and does calm feel out of reach?

Then let’s eagerly respond to this invitation. Let’s stop looking for life to change, for people to change, for the world to change, and let’s allow the gentle power of the Christ to embrace us, soothe us, refresh not only our bodies but our souls.

Whether we are laboring in our jobs, burdened with worry or fear, overwhelmed with a physical challenge, our rest is available by turning to God. We can let His Christ tend to our needs, show us what is real and possible, and comfort us as only the divine Comforter can.

Release all willingly and humbly to God. Pause, realize, and accept that you can drop those cares and allow the Truth of your oneness with God to dissolve them naturally. You are safe. You are free. You are divinely loved.
