“O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit or stand. When far away you know my every thought. You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am.”  (Psalms 139: 1-3, the Living Bible)

God knows us intimately. He sees us in every moment. God’s consciousness of us is our protection, our comfort, our victory.

God is Love and He is Spirit. His awareness of us is full of care and understanding. He sees within to who we truly are, to what He caused us to be. He brings us light and inspiration, guidance and wisdom, leading each of us to what is most right and satisfying.

Our fears and doubts are not a cause for shame. God sees us where we are and brings us what we need, with tenderness as well as might. He knows when we may require more instruction and when we yearn for assurances. God urges us forward in the path He has made for us, but He is also there to offer us rest, a pause, a respite.

Even when we are far away—feel less than on track, in the dark, far from human help—God hears us and is there with His kindness and strength, showing us that with God we are known, seen, safe, loved.
