“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” (Psalms 32: 8)

We don’t need to see what’s ahead. We don’t need to have the details of a plan outlined. We don’t need to brace for the worst, prepare for future troubles. We can remain students, children, and let God show us what’s next and new, moment by precious moment.

For it is God’s eye that we can count on. He sees all and sees it clearly. He sees where we need to go and how we need to get there. He knows not only where, but why and how. He has a plan that is not simply a reasonable human course of action, but the right way for true progress, growth in grace, a developing understanding of Love.

And God’s eye sees us. He knows us truly, better than we know ourselves. He sees the glorious idea that He made and is ready to reveal a life that suits us, that utilizes us well, that expresses His own qualities in us.

Our job is to let Him guide us, to trust His eyes that are not limited or obscured by fears and time and physical impediments. We can let God teach us and show us how to go forward, always walking with us, guiding us to experience more of His beautiful and immortal design of life, to see more of what His holy eyes can see.
