“Call to Me, and I will answer you. I will tell you of great things, things beyond what you can imagine, things you could never have known.” (Jeremiah 33: 3, the Voice Translation)

Open your heart and your mind. Listen with expectation and without limits. Put in that call to God, tune in to His voice, and accept the surprises and blessings that divine Life describes and designs for you.

What God does is great. So, as we truly listen, the ideas, inspiration, guidance, instruction, and wisdom that He provides unfolds great things. His revelations to us, whether in word, consciousness, or experience, are beyond our human imaginations. They are holy. They are right. They are good, harmonious, and progressive.

We don’t already know these things that God wants to tell us. So, we may as well stop trying to inform God of what we need, what we think, what’s going on, what we expect. Instead, let’s be still, quiet. Let’s be ready to hear, to perceive with our willing humility, what we could never outline, but what God has in store for us.

We can call to Him, not with pleading and with a litany of our troubles, but with reverence, respect, and a readiness for amazing things that we could never have known but which we can gratefully enjoy!
