“Israel, out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them! God told them, ‘I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!’” (Jeremiah 31: 2-3, Message Bible)

The wandering souls of old and those of us today seeking rest, resolution, peace, are not lost. Our God is at hand, right where we are, coming to us with Truth, with direction, with His Word of freedom. He is looking for us as the verse tells us. God’s people, the ideas of His heart and His creating, are always in His care. And He has never forgotten a single one of us.

We may feel we are unloved or unnoticed, neglected or even hiding away, but the love of divine Love is always seeking us out, always there for us to receive. It always has been. Our fears and the world’s presentations may turn us from the Truth of God’s ever-active presence, but it has always remained. And His Love isn’t apart from us, waiting for us to prove ourselves. It comes to us, meets us as we seek, and draws us in.

We can open our hearts and our eyes and our spirits to God’s saving grace. We can recognize that even as we wander, we can expect to bump into love, love and more love!
