“My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not let your feet go out from under you. He Who watches over you will not sleep.” (Psalms 121: 2-3, New Life Version)

Your days and your nights are safe! God made the heaven and the earth, and all remains perpetually under His control. The universe was established by God and is governed with precision and certainty. And you are secure within this cosmos of goodness, divine Love’s active awareness of every idea He created.

It may seem at times that we don’t know where we are going or what we are doing. We may feel physically weak and graceless. But at all times and in every circumstance, God keeps us steady, upholding us in His Truth of us and leading us just where we need to go. Timely. Progressively. Comfortably. We are always walking in His grace, and we can’t fall.

Likewise, God is guarding us when we rest. As the night falls and the darkness wants to draw us into fear and confusion, restlessness or rumination, God is there. He embraces us in His assurance, the lullaby of His loving promises, putting us to gentle sleep. And we can willingly release, and trust God to prepare our coming day while we gratefully rest and let Him.
