castle

“God, the one and only—I’ll wait as long as he says. Everything I need comes from him, so why not? He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul,
An impregnable castle: I’m set for life.”
(Psalms 62: 1-2, Message Bible)

What a wonderful, comforting thought! We are set for life. We have everything we need because we have God, the one and only Life, Truth, Love, Mind.

Agreeing to this relationship with Him and accepting the presence of His nature in our day to day, we can experience this trust and stability. We can feel secure when we recognize that we don’t have to rush forward to make something happen. We can reside patiently in the consciousness of God’s own Love around and in us, His wisdom in action, His government operating for us all.

We are safe in every moment. God gives us that steady ground, His goodness and justice and Truth mooring us to Him and the integrity of Being. This fortress of His presence is not only safe, it is also a castle. It is grand and beautiful. We aren’t sitting confined in wait for a better life. We are already rightful dwellers there, with plenty of breathing room for our soul—for all our needs both practical and inspirational—and we are, indeed, set for life!
