The physical senses may provide information. They offer us a picture of things that seems tangible and reliable. Our senses can show us beauty and flavor and color and music. But through these five material receivers, we can also become aware of loss, of pain, of discord.

The invariable truth can’t be revealed by means of that which is so changeable, so mixed in quality, and so bound up in individual perspective. On the other hand, our spiritual sense provides us with enduring Truth. It is reliably right, always showing us God’s vision, His creation, His true goodness and Life.

We appreciate keen physical senses. Let’s even more so honor our spiritual senses and trust the inspiration they give to us. Spiritual sense lifts us above the variable, fearful, limited human perception of reality, where we can awake to the facts of our existence. This inner voice, God speaking within you, knows more about your Life than a nerve can tell you. It knows infinitely more about Truth than human opinion can give you.

And spiritual sense is not subject to material conditions. It remains whole and ready and active. You always have access to it. Listen with your heart. Turn off the inaccurate noise of physical testimony and hear reality singing its song of Life for you and for all.
