“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth…” (I Corinthians 2: 12-13)

We gain awareness of God and His blessings in many ways. We can read the Scriptures, hear inspired speakers, and find enlightenment in prayer. These awaken us to God’s goodness—His qualities that are free and at hand.

And having gained consciousness of these gifts to us, we can make them known to others. We can share our understanding of God and His healing presence. This effective teaching and speaking and giving isn’t something governed or motivated by human opinions, or expressed in a way that is measured by formulas or rules.

Our gracious praise and our ministry, is the activity of the Holy Ghost. This is the Christ making itself known to us, not by material information, but by the spirit within. It is the Love that touches us where words can’t reach and the Soul that moves our hearts to joy and awe.

As we receive this precious Holy Ghost, this dawning glory of God, so we must share it. We can gratefully let go of the need for humanly perfect presentations, and instead allow that profound feeling that touched our hearts, to radiate forth in the way in which we give, live, and love.
