“So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life],…so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];” (Acts 3: 19, Amplified Bible)
The presence of the Lord is always refreshment. His Love and His renewing Spirit bring a clean start to each new day, to each new moment.
Choose to release the dirt and grime and burden and discouragement of yesterday, and let the cleansing begin. Awake to God’s purpose for you, and let that cool breeze of reality revive your energy, your resolve, your trust, your eager joy. Consciously commit to changing your inner self—going deep with God into the reality of your being. Let the Truth be discovered and claimed, rather than allowing yourself to continue living a lie that would make you small, doubting, limited, and uncomfortable.
Let the refreshing come! It isn’t a stretch or strain to get that absolution, that pure water of Love revealing that you are innocent, free, ready for Life, and having a very special purpose as well. You have been made to be God’s expression, and this is natural to you; it’s brilliant you underneath all the mortal accusations and fears and self-doubt.
Repent! Agree today to start fresh, clean, and let God show you your wonderful shiny Life!
