Daily Inspiration, December 16th

“…stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.” (Job 37: 14)

Stay still. Just be. Stand in peaceful awareness of Life and its glories. Behold and cherish what is real and true and do it from a point of stability, of simple trust and spiritual observation.

God and His Truth and Love are right where you are. You don’t need to rush about mentally or physically seeking what you already have. Stand still. Let that gentle and powerful Christ come to you and show you what is real and really yours to enjoy and to share. Stillness can be your savior. Try it.

And know that you can do it. The calm state of thought that is ready to be blessed, inspired, illuminated, healed, is yours naturally. We do have the innate capacity to know God and so we are equipped with the ability to be still enough to feel thoroughly His presence and to hear easily His Word.

Stand still. God’s glorious activity upon you and for you is enough. Let Him do the acting, the inspiring, the healing, and stand in peaceful awe that you are in the perfect spot to witness and accept such powerful goodness and wondrous, saving Love.
