Daily Inspiration, November 13th

“I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord.” (Jeremiah 15: 20)

God’s presence never leaves us and His action is always that which saves us. God’s purpose is to see His own perfect Life and Love expressed. We are the evidence and celebration of the fact of God’s living goodness.

And we are always at one with Him, so God’s powerful tenderness is always right where we are, to save us, to rescue us from the wrong ideas, fears, and limits and to deliver us to our true home, our real state of knowing and being. This verse is not some cry out to God, a desperate reach for hope and escape from trouble. It is God’s own promise and guarantee vitally announced. It is Truth expressing its intention for us.

“I am with thee” says the Lord Himself, “and I am here to assure that you are kept safe, freed from the gloom and doom of mortal life. I am here to awake you out of the mesmerism of believing that you are alone, separate from divine Life and Love, and subject to material problems and mistakes and confusion. I am with you to make sure you make it safely home to Me, to the reality of your forever Oneness with perfect Life, infinite Truth, and the Love that unfailingly and right now loves you.”
