“Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” (Psalms 73: 25-26)
We always have a ready companion, a steady hand to guide us and keep us upright, and a constant Source of loving care. We may lose hope and strength when we look at our material circumstances. We may feel we are alone and that we are enduring hardships that seem overwhelming.
But this sense of lack is already filled with God’s presence. He is with us with His conscious wisdom in our day and with His love in our night. The physical senses may taunt us with limitations and fears, but our all-seeing and tender Father-Mother has the true story and holds us securely there. It is a love story and we are in it with God, with the One true Love that always sufficiently loves us.
Turn away from complaint and doubt and pity and see the fact of your salvation already at hand. God and His goodness are infinite. They are active and powerful. You are never separate from that loving-kindness, that boundless provision, and that focused attention and affection. God is your reliable reliance. He has your hand, your heart, and your life and it is absolutely safe, complete, and so very good.

Thanks. This was so helpful for me at what seems to be a tough time.
