Daily Inspiration, March 4th

“The changing glow and full effulgence of God’s infinite ideas, images, mark the periods of progress.” (Science and Health, page 511)

Are you afraid of change? Are you predicting what’s ahead and bracing for what’s next? Are you analyzing the reason why certain things have lost their appeal or place in your life? You can still that ruminating, questioning mind with this guarantee of your natural progress.

God’s infinite ideas, you and me and our magnificent lives, will always sustain their full effulgence—their brilliant radiance and shining forth. The change that may appear is simply the glow from a different perspective, the altered view through a new prism of experience and inspiration and growth in understanding. We needn’t be concerned about this changing glow in our lives. The light source has not changed. It is still and always God, infinite Love.

Our periods of progress are a good thing. The shift out of one thing and into another isn’t a move out into the wilderness, but the natural next step into new light, new enlightenment, an expanded sense of Life and our expression of it.

Think less about your life as a series of circumstances and more as a varied and colorful tapestry of new images to see and enjoy. Our progress is governed by God, so it is natural, necessary, and comes both out of righteousness (the right thing at the right time) and out of Love (what will satisfy, bless, and comfort us and others).
