“From one forefather he has created every race of men to live over the face of the whole earth. He has determined the times of their existence and the limits of their habitation, so that they might search for God, in the hope that they might feel for him and find him—yes, even though he is not far from any one of us.” (Acts 17: 26-27, JB Phillips New Testament)
We are one big universal family in which there are no favored children and no black sheep. Each idea of the One Father-Mother is cared for uniquely and perfectly, his life designed to meet God’s high standards and to glorify His own name which is Love. We have each been formed to fit into our perfect life–one with a specific purpose and plan, and whose only “limits” are those which assure that we never lose our way, never stray from the path of good, God.
The whole earth expresses God’s nature, His infinite Love and beauty and creativity. We are always being called to seek Him, to strive to know divine Love and immortal Life better. Everything is leading us to this conscious recognition of God’s presence and our unity with Him and so with all mankind.
The search for God is not one beyond any one of us. His Love is already and always actively with us in every place and at all times. He is near to each one of us, knows us truly, clearly, and dearly, and is each moment drawing us in to Himself, into a knowledge that we are dwelling in His grace and so is the whole world—all our sisters and brothers across this beautiful, heavenly earth.
