We have the light of the Christ. God has given us His Truth, and it abides with us in every place, every circumstance, every moment.

This Christ-light is not relegated to certain individuals, religious sects, or culture. Jesus told us that the Christ was the world’s Light. This light of Life is God’s presence made known among all mankind. This light is the Truth of man’s oneness with God, and of God as good, as Life itself, as living and saving Love.

We stumble around and fear and fail when we focus on and cling to mortal beliefs of separateness, discord, limitation. But when we let God’s Truth dawn on us and receive it with faith and gratitude, we discover that the Christ-light is always with us. It is inspiration. It is comfort. It is guidance and provision. When we recognize the active presence of this Truth, we can’t ever be in the darkness.

And it isn’t only mere glimmers of light we gain when we worship. We live in light, plenty of it, and we come to understand that the light is a part of who we are. It is the Truth within us, and we can use it, celebrate it, and see its radiance around us—in our day-to-day lives and in our worthy and wonderful world.
