“Don’t revel only in the past, or spend all your time recounting the victories of days gone by. Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it.” (Isaiah 43: 18-19, the Voice Translation)

Stay in that sweet state of anticipation. God’s ever-unfolding, always blossoming Life, has something new to say to you. Today.

We can stop being transfixed by the past, either in celebration or mourning, and be ready, open, to the new revelations God is preparing for us today. We are in the middle of God’s artistry coming into glorious being. He is creating a masterpiece today which includes us, beautifully and actively.

Let’s rejoice in the new year, the new day, with a joyous expectation of good. Let’s give up regrets. Let’s stop bracing for trouble. Let’s make today the day we begin releasing a sense of time altogether and awake to divine Love’s new and eternal moment for us and for all.
