“Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?” (Malachi 2: 10)
This question and its implicit answer can really wake us up in times of disagreement and challenge. We can look at others and ourselves in this more honest way. We can stop seeing individuals or nations or cultures as “other” and begin to see that we are all family.
For we have one creator, God, and He is the Father and Mother of everyone. No one is made by some other, lesser creator, and no one is less loved or special to God. God has formed each one of us out of His own brilliant qualities, designed us to radiate His goodness and love. We express Him in diverse ways, but we are all connected. We are all brothers and sisters.
This divine relationship is one that we can keep before our thought. We all have one Father, and that Father is Love itself. We are truly made of Love, and this is our common ground, our mutual quality and purpose. As we feel and express this Love, we align ourselves with who we truly are, who God made us to be, and this brings peace, respect, healing, harmony, and a feeling of true family with all mankind.
