“Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love.” (Hebrews 10: 24, the Passion Translation)

We can use our creativity as a means of inspiring others. We can find fresh and genuine ways to bring out the best in those around us, naturally encouraging them to meaningful acts of love and goodness.

There’s no one set way to be a spiritual leader, to be one who wants to make a positive difference in the world. As we look to our own hearts and listen for guidance, we are led to new opportunities to buoy one another. We can choose to motivate individuals to be kind and compassionate not simply by telling them to do this. We can discover our own gifts, touching the spirits of others in ways that make them truly want to do good, because they feel full and uplifted themselves.

Artistic expression, humor, simply listening and responding from our hearts, are just some ways that we can reach and stimulate others to positive thoughts and actions. As we do our own beautiful works as expressions of love, others can’t help but discover their own gifts and want to share them in ways that are unselfish, kind, and healing.
