Peaceful Sunset - Maldives - Travel photography

“Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” (John 14: 27, Amplified Bible)

May you fully receive this assurance. The Christ speaks these words to us today, for his message is timeless and true. Let’s be ready to accept this promise, and to feel its healing power.

Life can throw challenges at us that make us afraid or confused, unsettled and overwhelmed. But God remains full and powerful, a trustworthy constant in every moment, no matter what comes. Each problem, each question or doubt, is an occasion to yield to God’s Love and to gain those wonderful qualities that this translation amplifies for us.

We have God’s own calm. His stillness is a presence that is steady, serene, comforting, safe. And this perfect peace is not out of reach. It is right where we are, in those very hearts that feel worried or reactive. We can allow that loving Truth to give us relief and rest.

And with that serenity comes confidence. With the fear quelled, we can feel God’s strength, His righteous law of Life, working for us to sustain us, support us, and wisely lead us out of the darkness and into the light of a new day.
