“Love sincerely. Hate evil. Hold on to what is good.” (Romans 12: 9, God’s Word Translation)

Sincerity begets blessings. As we love from a genuine place in our hearts, honestly and without artifice, we honor that Love that is God, Truth.

Being sincere in all that we do is powerful. It leads to success as well as true peace of mind. Alternately, as we begin our thoughts and actions with what we believe we should do or base them on only a hoped-for response or outcome, we are out of alignment with God’s intention, that which is right and real.

As we connect with what feels authentic to our hearts, that sense of goodness and integrity that God placed within us, we feel compelled to follow the second part of this demand. We simply can’t abide that which is evil, that which doesn’t jibe with Love and the Spirit of Truth. And this Love that we feel, deep within, is there with us, to hold on to, and to honor as saving and healing.

Love and goodness are active in you and with you. These qualities give you the capacity and right to despise and reject evil, and to do it sincerely, fearlessly, and gratefully.
