eternity1

“He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3: 11, Amplified Bible)

God’s design is marvelous. His creation is not only masterfully beautiful, it is also absolutely right, appropriate, timely.

We are embraced in and supported by God’s intention. He is revealing His own glory, variety, love, intelligence, creativity, in every moment. This is our life unfolding, for Life is God, boundless good. Life is Spirit, and so it unimpeded and unlimited. And God’s plan is His alone. Infinitude is unknowable by the human mind.

But while we can’t fully grasp all that God knows and is, we are not distant from it. Divine Love is not withholding information. God has put in our hearts a wonder, a desire for awareness, understanding. This longing for God, for the knowledge of Life and Love, is within each of us. And this promotes our growth, our readiness to receive and enjoy the next installment in His wonderful story of Our Life.
