Daily Inspiration, September 25th

grace

“…it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;” (Ephesians 2: 8, Amplified Bible)

Grace will lead you home. God’s rich and generous compassion is an outpouring from divine Love itself, and this Love isn’t bound up in human reasoning, emotion, and judgment. It is freely and generously expressed.

The grace of God is a gift that reveals to us who we truly are—children of God, one with Him, and made to reflect His nature. This reflection itself is grace, for it means that we are showing forth goodness because of our Source, not because of our own labor or effort.

And the awareness that dawns through grace, this sweet and awesome bestowal upon our thoughts and into our hearts, shows us heaven. It gives us a glimpse of our salvation, of the eternal life that is the Christ-Truth of our being. It is tenderness and mercy and it is also power and strength.

Grace is where Love is, and Love is where you are. Receive it without qualification or argument and let it lead you home to your own worthiness, contentment, and true peace.
