“Rain and snow fall from the sky. But they don’t return without watering the earth
that produces seeds to plant and grain to eat. That’s how it is with my words. They don’t return to me without doing everything I send them to do.” (Isaiah 55: 10-11, Contemporary English Version)
God fulfills His intention. Just like the rains that fall and water the crops, so God’s Word, His heavenly proclamation of goodness, Life, fruitfulness, is powerfully active. God’s ideal ideas are the rain and reign of Truth, and so they are promises, guarantees.
We are both the recipients and the expression of God’s purpose. His divine demand is that we bless and are blessed. He requires us to be what He caused us to be and to make His glory known upon the earth. When God’s word is revealed to us, we can trust it to guide us forward and to accomplish the perfect result.
It isn’t really about what we personally aspire to. It isn’t about striving to complete something, alone and uncertain. God’s loving power and wisdom have provided us with the sun and the rain to nurture our budding ideas, and He is also the one to bring them forth into full blossom.
Trust the inspirations you have. Trust yourself to hear them and to know what matters and what feels right and real. And above all, trust God Whose angel inspirations are telling your heart His own purpose and Who can surely finish what He started in His powerful, precise, and loving way.

Hi Laura, I think you meant Isaiah and not Ephesians!
You are right! How did that happen? I’ll correct it if I can. Thanks so much!
Laura, I love this post. It makes me feel more sure of God’s love for me and all. Thank you. ♥️ ~
