Daily Inspiration, June 18th

“…my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (I Corinthians 15: 58)

What you are doing counts! Your righteous endeavors as well as your significant accomplishments are all making a difference. Don’t give up on your ideals, your inspirations, or yourself. God has absolute faith in you. He made you to bear witness to Himself, to Soul’s infinite ideal, and He knows that you can do it.

Working for good, expressing integrity and kindness, plants you squarely on divine Principle, on the law of God. Stay true to this Principle and don’t allow yourself to believe that standing firm on Truth and Love can be fruitless or too difficult. Remember that we abound in the work of God, good—we are rich and filled in this activity and by its great rewards.

The key is Love. “Beloved brethren.” As brothers and sisters of God’s own creating, we are united with divine Love, doing all things through and because of Love. This same Love empowers us, guides us, protects us, saves us, and makes our work not only productive and effective, but truly joyful and satisfying as well.
