Daily Inspiration, May 21st

“Comeliness and grace are independent of matter. Being possesses its qualities before they are perceived humanly.” (Science and Health, page 247)

You are a natural beauty. You have inherent grace and radiance and loveliness. You can’t be without these virtues at any time because they are spiritual. These qualities are God’s own Spirit revealed. They are the attributes of being, of divine Life—your Life.

God expresses those attractive qualities through His creation. They have nothing to do with matter and so they can neither be lost nor found therein. This genuine and enduring beauty is native to God’s ideas because Soul could not and would not form an ugly, graceless, unpleasing concept. Soul is abundant in all that is lovely and pleasant and this Soul, God’s glory, must be expressed.

And so there is you and there is me—the lovely ideas of our loving Father-Mother. We glow with the nature of God’s brilliance and always have. This is who we are, and this truth of our being, claimed and accepted, shines brightly for all the world, heaven and earth, to perceive and appreciate.
