Daily Inspiration, December 4th

“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.” (I Chronicles 16: 11)

Pursue the saving Truth. Make each moment one in which to discover and utilize God’s power, to lean on His goodness, and to rest in His Love. Seek His face at all times.

What does this mean? It means we must always be looking to God in all that we think and do. We must seek His strength instead of material power and reliance. We must look to infinite good as the mighty Source of all that is right in our lives, and expect to receive what perfect Love will always give us.

It is His face we seek. We look toward God, toward the Father-Mother-Love, to know what is real and right. We look to that One Who made us to know how we are, to perceive the Truth of our state of being and our worthiness. God’s face shows us a clear image of ourselves. So, seeking His countenance is honest. It presents to us the facts of our being and of our truest, best selves.

Self-analysis will not show you who you are. The words and actions of others can’t judge you righteously. God knows Life, for He is Life. He knows you, because He made you. He is infinite power, so He is able to hold you secure in His keeping, the image of His Love and the very smile on His beaming face.
