Daily Inspiration, December 16th

“God is the Life, or intelligence, which forms and preserves the individuality and identity of animals as well as of men.” (Science and Health, page 550)

Our individuality is safe in God’s keeping. His intelligence and authority and love keeps us forever intact in our original state, as the perfect idea that He saw fit to create and express. We cannot lose a single aspect of our identity. The unique and necessary being is forever preserved just as it was meant to be, just as divine Love designed us to be.

Nothing and no one can damage that exquisite rightness, that glorious balanced and beautiful selfhood. The Life that is life requires our continued presence and expressiveness as ourselves. God has never let anything, any circumstance, any accusation of time or physiology or fear, touch His brilliance. What God made stands as He made it forever. He was and is satisfied with us, with each idea He caused, and so it must remain—pure, lovely, active, lovable, enduring, useful, appreciated.

All creation endures as whole and right and realized, demonstrating God’s fullness and His contentment. Nothing can be taken away from this infinite reality, and nothing needs to be added to it to make it more right. You are God’s pleasure, just as you are, right now, because you are just like He made you—His own reflection, His own splendid and utterly individualized ideal, His pride and joy!
