“How happy are those who have learned how to praise You; those who journey through life by the light of Your face.” (Psalms 89: 15, the Voice)

Praise to God brings joy to our lives. Yes, it does! As we learn better how to acknowledge God’s presence on our life journey, we discover a fuller sense of happiness, energy, freedom, and peace.

Moving through life focused on self or material concerns may have some ups as well as downs. We will always be on a path of learning no matter what. But as we let the light of God’s face guide us; as we turn to God and see and feel His Love and goodness shining upon us, we feel more satisfied and less needy. We can release a sense of personal responsibility and celebrate the fact that God is in control and that this is a true cause for rejoicing.

Let’s remember that God is good itself. God is Love. God is Truth. We can’t look to the limited to find these limitless qualities. Instead, we can actively praise God for His light and love. Let’s be conscious of God’s creation, His beloved creation, which includes us and all in His harmonious embrace.

It may be difficult to let go of the ego or our reliance on people, but let’s willingly learn how to honor and praise God more. Happiness truly flows naturally when we are singing holy praises! It just can’t be helped.

Daily Inspiration, January 22nd, 2026

“Quiet. Listen obediently, Israel. This very day you have become the people of God, your God. Listen to the Voice of God, your God.” (Deuteronomy 27:9-10, The Message)

Today is your day. This very day we can listen and obey God’s Word telling us who we are and what that means. We can begin right now to accept that we are children of God and to act accordingly.

Be quiet. Just hush the senses and the babble of self—self-justification, fear, analysis, judgment, limitation, shame, blame, guilt—and for a moment just listen with grateful joy. Pause long enough to hear the voice of divine Love telling you that you belong to Love, to Truth, to infinite Life.

Take this message in. You are a child of divinity. You are made in God’s likeness. You belong to Him and are preserved and protected by His Almighty power and His perpetual, endless, ageless governing goodness.

We are God’s people—His beloved people. We don’t belong to material circumstances, time, or physicality. We are maintained and sustained by God. We are the very expression of His purpose, and we are made to follow Him naturally, to radiate His glorious light as the very essence of our being.

Be quiet. Listen for and receive your benediction from God today. It’s time. It’s your time to shine!

Daily Inspiration, January 20th, 2026

“So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” (II Corinthians 4: 18, Amplified Bible)

It may seem natural and logical to look at what is going on around us and to evaluate things according to the evidence of the senses. We can come to judge ourselves and life according to what the body wants to tell us or what our eyes and ears seem to inundate us with.

But physical things are limited in all ways. They tell us one story, but it isn’t the full story, the right story, God’s story of life. These material presentations are temporary and subjective. They can captivate us and draw us into a relationship with life that is full of fear and doubt; that is focused on self and survival; that is governed by emotions and time’s restrictions.

Let’s uplift our thought and let God reveal those unseen things to us. The spiritual truths that undergird reality are everlasting and good, healing, saving, and satisfying. Let’s recognize that Love is not housed in a person or a situation. Truth endures in spite of the world’s attempt to question or misinterpret it. Life is not subject to time and to material conditions and their supposed limits. Life is truly eternal, and this can be realized now.

We can look beyond the appearance of things to the reality of God and His expansive, enduring goodness. The pursuit of this spiritual vision and its exercise brightens our daily lives, uplifting our thoughts and leading to real productivity, joy, healing, and peace.

Daily Inspiration, January 15th, 2026

“The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.” (Galatians 6: 8, the Message)

It’s good to be alert to what we are planting each day. If our motives and resulting actions are selfish, lacking in awareness of others or compassion for them, we are not going to be seeing much beauty and fruition in our lives.

For starting with self, means not starting with God. God’s garden blooms and blossoms, nourishes and beautifies us and others. Focusing on self ignores God’s loving, Life-giving principles, and so we can’t enjoy the natural effects of His law of light and progress.

Instead of following the leadings of our own wits and will, we can listen for God’s direction. This allows Love to govern us, and this Love is not stingy and small. It is vast and full. It reaches others. And utilizing this Love helps us to grow and to flourish. Love for God and for man waters our own life and makes it fertile. As we daily devote ourselves more to God—to good—than to selfish concerns, we are taken care of.

It’s never too late to be aware of the potential for weeds and to treat our thoughts and our hearts with a liberal dose of gratitude and love for God and His ideas. This roots out the bad and allows the good to appear naturally and abundantly!

Daily Inspiration, January 13th, 2026

“Now this is what the Lord says. He created you, people of Jacob. He formed you, people of Israel. He says, ‘Don’t be afraid, because I have saved you. I have called you by name, and you are mine.’” (Isaiah 43: 1, International Children’s Bible)

God is telling us not to be afraid. When we listen, we can hear Him reminding us of His perpetual care for us because of who we are.

We are God’s own people, His beloved children, the expression of His goodness and the object of His Love. Because we belong to God, we belong to the Life that is good. We belong to the Spirit that is renewing. We belong to the Truth that sets us free. This is not a hope for later or a lost state of being. It is true right here, right now.

We have been saved, called. The Christ has revealed to us that we are not doomed and separate, mortal, limited, fearful. We are formed in God’s image and likeness, and so we naturally embody all the qualities that show Him forth, that prove the presence of good, the presence of God.

We have each been called by name. We are known specifically, formed uniquely, and loved unconditionally. We were intentionally created, just as we are, and our names—our true and glorious natures—are preserved by God, seen, and kept safe always and right now.

Daily Inspiration, January 8th, 2026

“May the words that come out of my mouth and the musings of my heart meet with Your gracious approval, O Eternal, my Rock, O Eternal, my Redeemer.” (Psalms 19: 14, the Voice)

This prayer is a pause for instruction. It’s leaving space for wisdom to reveal the right way to think and the right thing to say.

This is more than stopping for self-reflection, rumination, or judgment. It is this conscious desire to align our hearts and our actions with God’s purpose. We can humbly listen with the intention of pleasing God with the thoughts we think as well as the words we say. We can seek God’s approval because His way is right and His law is our protection, our strength, our rock.

God is indeed gracious. Let’s honor this grace and goodness by doing our best to hear God’s right thoughts for each moment, and then speaking in a way that God, Love, would approve of. Or, we can choose to stay silent in God’s presence, letting Him reveal harmony, peace, the ideal answer and action for us and for all.

We were made to hear God’s voice and to act accordingly. It is our most natural state of being. We can humbly and eagerly still the distracting ego, listen to God, and express ourselves in ways that make Him glad, that make Him known.

Daily Inspiration, January 6th, 2025

“Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you.” (Isaiah 26: 3, Passion Translation)

Our imaginations can certainly run wild, sometimes in creative and interesting directions, and sometimes in ways that can cause us to be fearful or distressed.

We can fill our imaginations—our wide-open consciousness—with God and His boundless ideas. We can empty our minds of ruminating and worrying, speculating and judging, and let them be filled with God’s qualities and His blessings. We can focus on what is true and good; what is light and loving. We can let this awareness bring us fresh inspiration and true peace.

Let’s trust confidently in God’s presence and His consistent, constant supply of wisdom, protection, and affection. Then our imaginations become full of Truth in all its vivid splendor and can’t be deceived by limits and lies. With this focused reliance on God, we discover peace within and see it unfold in our lives. Our inner discoveries of God’s grace are revealed in good experiences and the ability to navigate, calmly, any challenges that may come our way.

Perfect, absolute peace is certainly a desirable thing for each of us, and when we realize it, we also naturally share it with others, bringing peace to our lives and to our world.

Daily Inspiration, January 1st, 2026

“And God-Enthroned spoke to me and said, ‘Consider this! I am making everything to be new and fresh. Write down at once all that I have told you, because each word is trustworthy and dependable.’” (Revelation 21: 5, the Passion Translation)

This announcement from God comes straight to mankind. It is more than a wishful proposition, a hope. It is a promise from God, from Truth.

As we enter into a new year, we are being asked to consider what God is doing, to awake to His active presence. This verse reminds us that today and every day God is making everything new, fresh. We can take this verse and its precious blessings seriously. We can write it on our hearts and keep it firmly in mind. It’s the living Truth—clear, honest, reliable.

God expresses all and His creation is constituted of all that He is. God is never old or weakened or subject to deterioration. Time is irrelevant to God, for He never made it. God is eternal and so are His ideas. His Mind is forever conscious of each of us just as He made us to be—in His impeccable image and likeness. God’s awareness of us right now is our state of being.

Our selfhood and all creation are just as God, Spirit, caused it to be. So, it must always be new. This reality is constantly being revealed. Let’s awake to this and relish a new day, a fresh promise, an expectation of renewal today and every day.

Daily Inspiration, December 30th, 2025

“It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit—depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].” (Deuteronomy 31: 8, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)

We have the steady, powerful, presence of God with us every step of the way, every moment of our lives.

We don’t walk through this life alone or without helpful resources. God goes ahead of us. He is leading us even when we feel we are passing through wilderness or darkness. His light and wisdom and divine purpose guide and support us. God is in this moment, full and active, and He will be in the next moment when we walk forward into it.

Progress is His law and Love is His way. So, we need not fear or predict trouble, losing this moment of insight and life by fearing for tomorrow. Don’t let the past try to mesmerize you or bring you down. God has never left you and His promises remain bright and ready for your acceptance.

The world may appear broken, or we may feel broken ourselves. But God, the Truth of Life and Love, has never been damaged and cannot be. We can lean into this reality and let Him show us that He will never leave us without an answer, a light, a way home to grace and peace.

Daily Inspiration, December 25th, 2025

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2: 10-11)

Let’s celebrate with great joy and gratitude the revelation of the Christ in our lives! Let’s be ready to hear Truth’s angel afresh, telling us the good tidings of life as God’s children—free, immortal, beloved—as Jesus taught and proved.

Let’s remember that these good tidings were not for one ancient day or for one set of people. Let’s eagerly allow ourselves to witness a rebirth of joy within. Let’s be children to this moment and be delighted to bear witness to a brighter day—a day which is ready for us to embrace the promise of the Christ.

The angel said unto them—says unto us all—that we should not fear. We can let go of dread, to a sense of holding our breath for the worst, and instead open our arms and our hearts to the saving reality, the joy that shall be to all people.

God has revealed our oneness with Him and His undying, unassailable, presence on earth. The Comforter has been revealed and is with us today. Rejoice! Receive the good news and be yourself a twinkling, colorful light on this glorious Christmas day!
