“Now you’ve got my feet on the life path, all radiant from the shining of your face. Ever since you took my hand, I’m on the right way.” (Psalms 16: 11, The Message Bible)

God has got your hand. Feel the safety and assurance and love in that. You are never alone and wandering aimlessly, fearfully. You are being guided by the One Who knows and loves you, Who is aware of what is best, right, satisfying.

Our feet are on the right path if we start and stay with God. Moment by moment, step by step, we can move forward in the way that is good and pleasing, where we must naturally progress, taught by divine Love in each new day, each new revealed experience.

Don’t get ahead of God. Plant your feet on the knowledge of your Oneness with Him and know that this means you are safe and ready for what’s next. God’s surprises are never jarring, for His light, His radiance, lights the way for us, revealing naturally and timely what it is right for us to do, know, be.

Consciously, gratefully, rest your hand in God’s. He is your forever companion, fully supplied with protection, direction, provision, and His tender and powerful affection.

Daily Inspiration, January 9, 2024

“When the light shines, it exposes even the dark and shadowy things and turns them into pure reflections of light.” (Ephesians 5: 13, The Voice Translation)

God’s light, the radiance of Truth, is shining. Its infinite brightness dispels darkness by exposing what is wrong, dark, and sometimes hidden, and revealing what is true, useful, and good.

This light of God is not just some sliver of positivity that we have to personally cultivate and that only comes when we are at our best. This light is not judgmental or partial, only dawning upon one individual or one place, and not on another. Everyone can see and feel the presence and power of this light, the Truth of Love and of our own natural oneness with God, good.

This light is Truth, and this Truth is Love. Love ends fear. Love unites. Love brings peace. Love harmonizes and heals. This divine Love turns all it touches—and it must surely touch all through its infinitude—into pure reflections of light.

Let’s receive God’s illumination and claim its brilliance. Let’s know that as we feel it and claim it, we also naturally reflect this light—with saving results—out into our world.

Welcome to Life! Receive the invitation extended by Christ, a message that declares your own worthiness and readiness to enter into freedom, goodness, joy!

Grace is taking us by the hand. This gentle, yet powerful, merciful love of God is leading us forward, upward, out of a sense of limit and fear and into the discovery and acceptance of reality.

This reality is the understanding of immortality. And this immortal being begins in this moment. In fact, it has always been ours to acknowledge and enjoy. This perfect spiritual life has been revealed by the Christ, opening our hearts and minds to what has always been true, bringing to earth the ever-presence and authority of heaven.

While the world may appear to be broken, or we may think that we are, the Truth is putting everything together again. The knowledge of the Truth is awakening us to God and to His creation—always whole, intact, right, and without end.

Daily Inspiration, January 2nd, 2024

“The generous man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched,
And he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown].” (Proverbs 11: 25, Amplified Bible)

Generosity is the divine gift that never leaves us in want. As we actively claim our true abundance as the blessed offspring of God, and recognize our true loving nature, we can’t help but feel compelled to give freely and often.

Of course, we can use wisdom in this giving. God guides as to what to share and who to share it with. But we mustn’t be stingy with our blessings, for they are many and boundless. Our goodness comes from God and so it is plentiful and available. We can recognize this and give of ourselves and our resources, our time and our energy, without resentment or fear of loss.

When we give sincerely—making others’ lives better by bringing them joy, aid, comfort, peace, kindness, understanding—we will also be prosperous. These qualities, when used, are truly realized, and they multiply. Utilizing love is certainly feeling it, bringing it to life, watering it with our pure motives, and this will surely bring us more blessings to enjoy, afresh, with each new day.

Daily Inspiration, December 28th, 2023

“For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11: 29, New English Translation)

God’s gifts can’t be lost or taken back. God, divine Truth, has bestowed His rich qualities of goodness, Love, Life, upon us. He has given us light and wisdom and joy and peace. These are not on loan. They are not subject to circumstances and time. We have His abundant spiritual blessings always.

His call to us is equally irrevocable. It can’t be recalled or annulled or altered. God does not change His perfect Mind. He has called us to know Him and to express His presence and power in our daily lives. We are called to do what He would have us do, and also called to continue to seek Him, to grow in understanding as well as in grace.

We really cannot choose to return these gifts or set them aside. But we can choose to consciously recognize their presence and the constancy of their Source. God’s bestowals as well as His purpose in us are constantly reiterating themselves. We have new occasions each day to humbly, willingly accept these gifts, to possess them consciously, and to gratefully live out the calling of Love.

Daily Inspiration, December 26th, 2023

“And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.” (Colossians 3: 2, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)

Let’s heed this message and do our very best to discipline our thinking. Our lives are surely blessed as we remove thoughts of anger, guilt, fear, shame, hatred, discouragement and lift consciousness to receive God’s thoughts of peace, goodness, joy, hope, love—reality.

A focus on limited material things, base emotions and actions, and the gloom and doom the world may present, will never open our eyes to what is ours to enjoy. Nor does it aid us in helping to uplift and enlighten others in ways that can help us all find progress and realize peace and satisfaction—individually and as a global community.

The emphatic statement here is not only to think about the higher things—God’s creation, His qualities and our own natural and active expression of them—but to keep our minds set on these higher ideals. It takes conscious awareness to do this, but as we begin to recognize thoughts that are not healing, not from God, we can actively replace those thoughts, listening for God’s higher things moment by moment.

As we learn to do this, it becomes more natural. We begin to see when we are being deceived, mesmerized, and to awaken and rejoice in what is right, good, true, constructive, and healing.

Daily Inspiration, December 21st, 2023

“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.” (II Corinthians 9: 8, the Passion Translation)

Let this glorious blessing wash over you! God is always ready to give. Are you ready to receive?

We can open our thoughts, our hearts, our arms to claim the goodness God has for us. He isn’t here to overwhelm us with concerns, with fears, with guilt, with doubts, with challenges. God is here, ready, to overwhelm us with every form of grace. His Spirit is ready to energize us, to uplift us, to calm and comfort us. God’s loving grace is at hand to assure us that we are approved of, valued, worthy.

This abundant grace supplies us with all the Life and Love and inspiration we need to be able to give with limitless freedom in our lives as well. Everything that we do, with God’s good intention behind it, can truly thrive and blossom, and bring more of God’s grace to our world.

Daily Inspiration, December 19th, 2023

“When we wait patiently on God and seek Truth righteously, He directs our paths.” (Science and Health, p. 254)

Patience and righteousness are key to seeing the way forward and getting in step with our good life.

Let’s not try to get out ahead of God as we move through our experience. We can relax and trust Him to show us what we need, as we need it. Our job is to seek Truth, with right motives, and to be willing to listen and to learn and to progress just as God—perfect Love—would have us do.

God has made us and also created our path—the steps of spiritual awareness that advance us on our way to a fuller understanding of Life and of what is real and right and true. We see this path and can enjoy our journey on it as we patiently release a sense of time and a fixation on the material and the limited.

Often, we tend to fixate on a specific picture or solution, outlining a path that is not God’s better way. We can try to rush what requires more nurturing, more space to develop and unfold in a way that most blesses us and all.

We can trust God, Truth, to wisely reveal our way and to protect us faithfully as we walk forward on His advancing, ascending Life-path.

Daily Inspiration, December 14th, 2023

“I am with you every day, even unto the end of time.” (Matthew 28:20, Aramaic Bible in Plain English)

Jesus gave this assurance directly to his disciples and it is a perpetual promise to each of us. The Christ, that saving Truth of God’s oneness with man, remains with us every day, forever. We will always have this companioning Love with us to comfort, guide, inspire, awaken, and heal us. Everything that Jesus knew and proved remains with us all—fully, actively, and without pause or end.

I am with you. The I AM, the divine Ego, which is perfect consciousness, is with us. In any and every moment we can release a personal sense of things and feel this Christ with us, revealing the Truth of this day, this experience, our being.

This eternally existing goodness is tender yet powerful. And it will remain always with us unto the end of time—until our full realization of Truth, the heavenly reality that is the timeless now of Life and Love in us, with us, for us.

You will never be alone. The Christ is not separate from you or distant from this hour. This Christ is your own true identity, and it will always be yours to joyously accept and gratefully express every day.

Daily Inspiration, December 12th, 2023

“I will lead the blind on unfamiliar roads. I will lead them on unfamiliar paths. I will turn darkness into light in front of them. I will make rough places smooth. These are the things I will do for them, and I will never abandon them.” (Isaiah 42: 16, God’s Word Translation)

We may feel we are in unfamiliar territory, navigating the unknown today and unclear about what the future might hold. It may seem that our challenges are too great and that there is no real solution at hand.

But when we lack clarity or insight, God is with us to reveal what is needed, to light our way and show us what is real, good, ours to feel and know. God will never abandon us, even in the times when we feel guilty or that we have made regrettable mistakes. God, Love, is always with us, and we can feel His presence as we accept the fact that we are His children, that He wants to guide us home to what is true and right.

The way brightens as we walk in it. As we follow the light of hope and trust, the darkness turns to light in front of us, enough to give us the next inspiration, the next step, the strength needed, the comfort that brings necessary peace.

This verse is God’s loving promise. We are never out of our element, without recourse, left to our own devices or to fate. We are always with God and He knows the perfect way.
