“Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. It is, in fact, the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen.” (I Corinthians 13: 8, J. B. Phillips New Testament)

Love is invincible. Love is powerful. Love is eternal. Love is here and now and ours to feel and express.

We may find ourselves relying on others, on finances, on material opportunities. We may feel that our lives and the lives of others are under attack by hate, injustice, destructive elements. But these limited resources and unrighteous forces are not truly powerful. They don’t have endurance. They don’t have intelligence. They don’t have spiritual energy or the everlasting law of Truth in them.

Love is limitless. It is always available. Divine Love is ever-present and irresistible and undaunted. Love doesn’t fight. It simply annuls its opposition through its persistent tenderness, its light to the darkness of thought and action.

Love is the winner. We can consciously accept the Love that is and seek to share that abundant love. This can move mountains. It can change hearts. Love will outlast all. But let’s not wait for that moment. Let’s begin with Love. Let’s start and finish with God Who is Love.
